Short Love Stories

A book of short Dog-Love stories! Great for the coffee table, or a pick-me-up lunch read. Reminds us that dogs are far more "humane" and understanding than we humans. And usually a better companion for a woman than any man could hope to be!

Why I love this book so much.

I was given this book as a gift several years ago. Since then I have bought many copies because I lend them out and I never see them again. "Dogs and Their Women" is a heartfelt compilation of narratives written by women about a special dog in their lives. Some are funny and some as you would imagine connect you with feelings of sadness for the dogs no longer with us. All of the stories make you glad to be a dog loving female. Women have always connected with dogs and other innocent beings so why not celebrate that and not let men steal our thunder!

A wonderful book! I bought this book when seeking solace following the death of my first dog companion. It gave me comfort and hope to see that there were many more special dogs out there, (and I have since adopeted another one!).
