Thought-Provoking

First off, ignore the 1-star review that is only negative because the buyer is criticizing the person who sold her that book.
This is a very well-written and thought-provoking textbook. The notes and problems really flesh out the different theories and exceptions. I highly recommend picking up the supplement (also by Weaver et al) that answers a lot of the questions posed in the book, and provides concise summaries.

Case book with a good Aspen case brief keyed to it

It's a case book loaded with cases. Unlike others, it is slimmer and will fit in a briefcase. There is a good Aspen case brief keyed to the book. It should help you prepare for the final and busy weeks.

Good book but poorly edited, many grammatical errors

The book does an excellent job at explaining criminal procedure. However it is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. The editors did a very poor job of proof reading this edition.
